Description
A particle board (Partex-brand style) made from compressed wood chips bonded with resin, offering a flat, stable surface at a lower cost than plywood. It’s heavier than plywood of the same thickness but less prone to warping across large flat panels, making it a common choice for wardrobe or cabinet carcasses that stay indoors. It doesn’t hold screws as well at the edges as plywood, so edge banding and cam-lock fittings are typically used instead of direct edge screws.
